Hanging Calabash Holder


These hand-woven reed calabash holders are from Niger. Hung by a loop at the top, they are traditionally used to hold a calabash bowl full of food up off the ground (see photos below with calabash and flat disc), but they are also strong enough to hold a potted plant. These brightly colored calabash holders make a unique gift or addition to the home.


All the Hanging Calabash Holders we have are almost identical. The one you will receive will look almost exactly like the one pictured.
