Tamashek/Tuareg Crosses
This is a beautiful display of the Tamashek people's highly skilled silverwork. These framed crosses are representations of 3 different Tuareg provinces, or clans, across Niger. Each cross is named in Tamashek, the Tuareg's native language. They are made of silver/nickel and mounted securely on a red velvet background. The wood frame is tightly wrapped and exquisitely embossed with leather and has a hook on the back for hanging.
Only one frame like this one! .
