Tamashek/Tuareg Cross
This is a beautiful display of the Tamashek people's highly skilled silverwork. This cross represents the Tuareg province, or clan, of Agadez in Niger. The cross is named in Tamashek, the Tuareg's native language. It is made of silver/nickel and mounted securely on a red velvet background. The wood frame is tightly wrapped and exquisitely embossed with leather and has a hook on the back for hanging.
Only one frame like this one! .
